I got some rack boots from europartsdirect.com and I cannot see how I'll be able to get these things on there. The outer diameter of the boot is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the thing it's supposed to go onto (the inner end of the boot). I tried Armor-all as somebody here suggested, but that just made the rubber more slippery in my fingers. Did europartsdirect send me some kind of wrong boots or is this going to be a major struggle? Why in the h*** do they need to make them so tight when you're going to put ties on them anyway!
