Fuel pump/ relay problem 200 1985

my 85 240 DL 2.3 liter stalled. then I was able to re-start it and then it stoped again. I suspect fuel pup or relay problem. Can you suggest Any diagnostic proceedures? Fuses to in tank pump ok.
