Project expense tracking and recordkeeping

I'm using Microsoft Excel to keep track of all the work done to my "new" '86 244. The car came with three years worth of service receipts so that got me started.

So far it only consists of three columns, "Date", "Part/Service" and "Comments". With a little imagination and knowledge of the program, a spreadsheet could be used to record all kinds of information and track all those scary cost and schedule numbers...
