Hey, that's a pretty nice photo record! I'm very interested in what you did to your tank. My 68's original fuel tank was dented and clogged up, then when I had that clear, it ceased to suck fuel after 4 gallons.

I pulled it and heard the pickup tube rolling around inside the tank. Your photos show me that the big dent I have in the tank is right where the pickup goes.
No wonder it snapped off!

I'd like to restore the original tank. How did you split the tank into halves without damaging it??
