Where's the F.I temp sensor on '90 240? 200 1990

I'm trying to track down an intermittent stall/no-start condition and one of the things I wanted to check is the temp sender for the LH 2.4 system (1990 240). The Green Book isn't very clear about location, but is very clear in showing the sender to be a two-wire design. I can't find such a sensor where I thought it was supposed to be, which is right above the knock sensor, right? Instead, what I have there is a single-wire sender. There is what appears to be a two-wire sensor furhter back on the motor, right under the intake runner for the #3 cylinder, but it's so buried in wires that I can't really see it and don't even really want to take the lead off because I'm not sure I'd ever get it back on (I struggled for 5 minutes trying to get it off, but my big hands just don't want to fit in there.)

The other reason I'm skeptical that the sensor right above the knock sensor is the right one is that the values seem all wrong. According to the manual, it's supposed to be fed by a 5v. source, whereas I'm showing about 1.7 v. I'm also showing about 700 ohm resistance to ground, whereas the chart indicates it should be more like 2K ohm at 80*.

So, is this not the right sensor? If so, what is it, and where do I find the one I'm looking for??

Thanks!!
