After 26yrs, the original radiator is still doing its job. All is working as should with no leaks. Hoses have been replaced over the years, coolant has been flushed and replaced a number of times, thermostat replaced, all the usual preventative stuff one does to keep a car going trouble free. I'm thinking of replacing the radiator, simply for preventative maintenance, to avert a potential disaster on a road trip. Usually their are early warning signs like coolant starts to disappear, or you notice your temperature gauge riding a little high, but I hate surprises. The car has 220,000km. What do you think, hang on to it and wait for trouble to start, or count my blessings and run don't walk to have the radiator replaced? What would you do? TIA
