IPD Bypass plate for 240 installation 200 1993

Questions regarding the installation.

-What happens to the solenoid itself once the plate is placed on. Do I leave it hanging. Maybe secured with a tie wrap with something?

-The wiring at the end of the tranny. Shall I leave it disconnected, secured with a tie wrap?

-Once installed, will the arrow stay on permanently?
