What is the difference between a 760 and a 740

If you look at the car 20 feet away it's a 740/940, but there are about million details that are all different and some of these may become quite annoying. Those who watch "Friends", will know what I mean when I say that this car is the Volvo equivalent to Rachel's english trifle.

The interiors are different, the air conditioning system is different, the relays are different (960 style), rear suspension is obviously different which makes the exhaust system and fuel tank different, Girling calipers in the back instead of ATE, the aux fan up front is the bigger style, boost overpressure cutoff switch is in the engine bay instead of under the dash, and so on...

It's not bad, the main problem is that if you frequent self service junkyards there's a whole lot of little things you wont be able to get from there and things are not always laid out 100% exactly as they were in the "peasant models". It'll never be good hot rod but it's a nice highway cruiser if all the accessories work. Mileage will be worse than on a similar 740, it's much heavier (3500lbs) and you'll get between 15 - 23.5 MPG.
