245T rear end noise... Internal problem? 200 1984

Hi all,

Thanks for the ideas thus far!

I am going to order an adjustable panhard rod and torque rods from IPD (which I was going to do eventually).

True lowering springs are certainly down the road. For the record, a PO cut the springs before I picked up the car last summer. I don't know how they were cut... I'll check that out when I get back to the car (at a friend's shop). I didn't realize 240's had stock progressively wound springs!

I've been driving it since with no problems, no noises. This is only a recent problem.

I will be doing some more investigating into the condition of the driveline and report back.

I appreciate all the help.

I've attached a link to a pic of the car. Its low, but not too crazy.

Cheers
Andrew
