I vote to store in clean oil. Used oil contains the products of combustion which are acidic and burnt oil may form a varnish more easily while sitting up against surfaces. Tuck a piece of cardboard under the wiper arms so that the wiper blades sit off the glass instead of being smooshed into the windshield all summer. Might last longer
