Hello folks
recently had the tranny off to replace the main rear seal due to an oil leak.
after getting the car back from the garage, the idle has been a bit rough. it idles at the right rpm range, but is now fluctuating (I'm guessing no more than about) +/- 150 rpm around its historical correct rpm......not very rough but a tad noticable......at any rate it certainly wasn't this way before the car went to the mechanic.
what could he have done in separating the tranny from the block that affeced the idle? Or, if it's coincidental, what could it be?
