Suspension suggestion

When making an arching turn (such as a freeway exit) my front wheels shake when I hit a certain far degree. I'm not sure if this can be wheel balancing as they are fairly new tires, and i can't notice a huge "shake" when traveling in a straight line. Also I noticed something "not-quite-right" when reversing and the wheel was completely "cranked."
So, when I remove the plastic pan, etc. What should I be looking for? Obviously tightness and cracked bushings, but anything in specific? What could this be?
