I have 2 fault codes I'm trying to resolve on a '93 945t with bosch LH/EZK
The first one is a ignition code #144, "no load signal from FI system". I've done a search and found a few possibilities, I'm hoping its just a flaky solder joint in the fuel pump relay. As far as I know the relay is still the original. The symptoms are that the car would miss going down the highway, its happened maybe 3 times in the last 500 miles of driving and its almost un-noticable. I'd just about convinced myself it was my immagination until this morning when it did it and the CEL came on. No other symptoms, power is good, MPG same as always, no smoke, starts right up. Just wondering what else to look at if the new fuel pump relay in my glovebox doesnt fix the problem.
Item #2 is a ABS fault code # 135 "control module faulty". I've done some looking around online and I'm not finding anything for a replacement part listed as a control module. There is a overvoltage protection switch w/fuse listed ( someone please tell me I only need to replace a fuse) Has anyone had experience with this fault code? BTW the ABS light has been on since I've owned the car, the PO told me it needed a wheel speed sensor. I thought they just may need to be cleaned. Thats been done in the past week as part of installing new pads & rotors all-around.
Thanks for reading my lengthy post, any input will be helpful. Thanks!
