Front Bumper Interchangability 200 1983

I have a problem and need some advice. While tearing down the front end on my new to me '83 turbo, I noticed that the bumper was deformed and I want to replace it. After looking at my '88 240 the bumper looks different from the one on the '83 (possibly deeper?) Can anybody tell me what bumpers will fit on the '83, does it have to be from an '83? I want to head to the junk yard wed. thanks.
