So I'm sort of in a time crunch here on account of a move down south. I have a '78 Bertone that's having radiator issues. Apparently the main reservoir is not mixing with the reserve reservoir, and when the car runs hot, the reserve tank is empty though the main tank remains full. I'm not too mechanically inclined, but it seems to me the coolant in the main reservoir is not reaching the radiator, therefore the radiator is drawing coolant out of the reserve directly. Is this possible? Any ideas on the problem? I thought perhaps a pinched hose or not enough suction from a fan? Also, if you can pinpoint the problem, is there any chance for a price range on a fix?
