Weird thrunk when i accelerate 200

When i'm stopped and/or rolling slowly, and i begin to accelerate, i sometimes get a 'klunk' sound coming from the rear of my car. I can feel a small nudge when that happens too. It seems like it could be coming from the transmission too. It makes a somewhat hollow sound. Any idea what it could be?
