Well, it's my turn. Bought this one new in '88 and haven't had much trouble out of him. Yesterday I heard a new squeak, then while stopped at a light the vents quit blowing, I looked down and my fan speed was still on #2. I cranked it up to #3 and the fan starts up and I settle back to #2 position. Today, it's positively the fan rubbing inside slowing down and stopping sometimes.

I've read enough from you guys to know that I will probably not tear into this problem. It's bigger than I want to tackle. I'll have to turn into a consumer, rather than a producer, on this one and pay the bill. Shucks!!
