Rust repair, use of floor pans from other car?

I am starting a project to fix a 1962 544 and also have a 1964 544 which has more structural rust but surprisingly the trunk lip and passenger floor pans are in much better shape than the 1962,
What are your thoughts on cutting these parts out of the 1964 and using them to weld in repairs on the 1962. I have a "new" floor pan piece for the driver side and rear passenger side but they are not formed at all, just the flat part of the floor part.
any thought would be appreciated, am just starting to take the 64 apart and plan on saving everything I can for spares.
