Did you ever work out how much duration at .050" the Swedish cam in your MPPE has?
Not yet -- I'll get all the cam measurements when the engine comes apart for mods this fall or winter.
That 108LCA is far to wide for a cam of 254 degrees at .050", especilly with one throat/cylinder IMO. What sort of head/intake/exhaust does it have?
Doesn't have one throat per cyl -- the rules require dual HS6 SUs on the original manifold. Exhaust is the dual-pipe iron manifold. Head is B18 fitted with B20 42/35mm valves (smaller diameter stems, and the chamber is relieved around the 42mm), nice porting, 11:1 compression (has to run on pump gas, not racing fuel).
With OE Bofors rods and Mahle pistons (also required), we can't run much above 7000 rpm, so I wanted to be sure it would make power by 3500 or even lower. It's still 72 degrees of overlap at the valves, even with the 108 LSA.
