Headlights will not come on 200 1993

93 240 headlights will not come on. High beams work when hold switch on. Had problem 2 weeks ago & traced down to relay in dash below AC duct. GN-R wire on postion 30 of relay was burnt at plug. Figured relay caused this. Replaced relay, removed plug & used quick connects. Has worked until tonight. Haynes book shows GN-R wire goes to position 7 and is jumped to 6 on fuse box then goes direct to battery. Don't have access to a Bentley.
Can hear relay clicking in dash when try to turn lights on, dash lights work.
Anyone seen this? Or have any other info on where wire runs? I assume it is burnt again which must be a short somewhere.
