driving lights 120-130

I'm considering adding driving lights to my 122 and have two questions: first, what are brands and models that are favored? Most of what I see seem to be smaller in diameter than what I've seen in pictures, and second, what have you found to be the pros and cons of mounting them behind or in the grill instead of on the bumper?
