Need help getting LOGIN to work, cannot get into OPINIONS

I am plopping a reply on this post because I am experiencing EXACTLY the same symptoms with no remembered username that B.C. described, including the greyed login fields. Current browser is Firefox 1.5, if it makes a difference.

Another issue that has NEVER worked right (for me) is the preferences in the classified section. I select 100 listings per pages, and if I leave /CLASSADS, it's back to 20 (obnoxious) when I return. Netscape, Firefox, Iexploder, Opera... all the same.
