Volvo switched over to the '90' series monaker in the 1997.5 model year. The last 90 series rolled off the production line in Sweden in Feb. of 98. Replaced by the S80 as a 1999 model. We bought our 98 S90 in August 97 and it had been manufactured in May of 97. So I think the ECM's from any US made 90 series will be the same. They weren't making many/any mods since the line was discotinued.
