So today I drove the car around, and it died on me, but I was on a back road so I got a chance to see if there was a code---and their wasn't. What was odd with it dying this time is that the check engine light came on.
I am under the impression, although I wouldn't bet the farm on it, that it dies when one accelerates; last weekend I parked the car in the driveway and let it idle of over an hour and it would not die. But it seems to die when one has the foot on the pedal.
Not sure if this helps with the diagnosis . . .either way, thanks all for your input.
