electrical Shiftlock release S90-V90

I have the same problem in cold weather.
Trusted mechanic says it is the ignition switch contact assembly.
Wiggling the key has helped.
Best cure is warm the car up for 5 minutes, then all is well.
But that is just my car.
I may get it fixed one of these days.
