I had a 72 1800E which I removed the fuel injection from and installed a pair of Mikuni 2 barrel carbs identical to webers, I have to tell you that those carbs made such a tremendous difference it is difficult to describe although you do have to play around with the main jets and air jets to get it just right. It gives the engine a really growling sound when taking off from a dead stop. V-performance carries these as well as a link to a site in Australia that sells an intake manifold for these carbs for about $160.00, you have to search around a little to find it, I found it the other night but didn't write down the exact address. good luck, you won't be sorry you bought them.
