Bypass the temp comp board and don't worry about it any more or ever again. Once the comp board is bypassed, if the gauge climbs towards the orange, then you have an issue!

ps. Once you have bypassed and removed the comp board,think about how you want to destroy the comp board to alleviate your frustration... personally, I've come up with a few doozies!
