Okay, my dimmer switch is working backwards for the instrument cluster/dash and the shifter/rear ashtray. As the switch is turned up, the ic/d brightens while the s/ra dims, and vice versa. Here is my question: If I locate, cut and reverse the wires going to the s/ra lights, would this fix my problem? Or could some kind person look at the back of their dimmer switch on their 740 and let me know the wiring diagram for the thing and maybe I could reverse it there? Any thoughts?
