from what I've read, the syn. oil will do a flush on its own. consider changing the filter in 1000-1500 miles. this will remove most sludge in there, if any. stay away from them quick lube ripoff artists. invest in a oil drain pan and a socket set. this way you know it was done right, with the right oil in it.

what oil are you using? alot of "synthetics" are just blends. M1, amsoil, are good full syn oils.

i put mobil drive clean 7500 in the 940 for its first oil change.(already had it for the old LHS) it is a syn. blend. i will probably drain at 3k and use M1 on a 5k drain.
