Hello All:
1967 Volvo 122S Wagon. It finally happened, my sweet daughter climbing out of her car seat put her foot through the floor. After joking "Ahh, Virginia is eating me!" we realized that the POR-15 process that I was planning to perform in two weeks will probably not be sufficient to the task.
What is the best way to proceed here? I am not a welder and I know that improperly welded panels can lead to all sorts of frame torsion problems. How do I determine where the limit is to what should stay in the floor and what should go? Do I POR-15 the remainder and then have a pro weld in floor panels? If so, where can I get new floor panels? I am in Westchester, New York. What do you guys recommend?
Cheers,
Jeff Pucillo
