One step forward, two steps back! 444-544 1953

I did remove the ignition tumbler on the AutoLite coil by grinding down the retaining pin. To my surprise, the design of the AutoLite switch is much different than the more common and familiar Bosch ignition switch. My only hope now is to contact the PO and see if he found the keys that he's misplaced for 3 years, or else start looking for a 6 volt Bosch coil and ignition switch.

AutoLite on left and Bosch on the right.

I have a conventional 6 volt coil with 2 screw on terminals. Has anyone substituted the Bosch coil for a standard (non shielded) style and how is it wired to the ignition switch?
