Strangely enough, I called Volvo ON Call just recently. My 1997 965 came with the card and booklet for Volvo on Call, and I wondered if it could be re-instated.

Answer was yes, it can be renewed, although it gets a new name for such an after-warranty-period deal.

When the helpful young lady explained what was covered, I said that it sounds a lot like AAA coverage. She agreed, end of inquiry.

So if you have AAA, let it be your second source for help. You are, of course, the primary source.
