is it bosch or bendix? the bendix cars have a problem where the power for the fuel pump, as it passes into the fuel sender, the connection is broken inside the epoxy coating. to check, you have to pull the sender out and then look for power and ground at the pump. if no power-new sender. have power and still no pump-obvious. good luck, chuck.
