Hello all - My '90 740 GLE speedo/odo sensor is possibly not working, I think it is a short from the irratic behavior prior to qitting for good. When I looked at the sensor, there is a bare wire badly corroded and falling apart around the push on connector. Does this wire do anything but stop you from messing with the sensor? Does anyone know if this could be my problem? If not please any suggestions would be great. At idle I am reading .3 or so volts from one wire at the instrament panel and 0 from the other, how does this sound? Thank you so much.
