I looked at that one when it was for sale down in Ocean Beach before the guy you bought if from got it. I think the price you paid on ebay was fair, I thought it might have gone for a bit more given the description and pictures used in the auction which made it look as good as possible. I think you would get more accurate price advice if you posted additional pics of the interior, rear and of the driver's side.
As a comparison, I paid $2800 for a 210 with rust through only behind the rear wheel wells and a bit on the cowl and fender that was an easy weld/patch fix and light surface rust elsewhere, no rust at all in any of the doors, rockers, etc. All interior panels were there, Headliner dirty but in great shape, all wood slats also in place, rear seat has one small tear, passenger's and driver's seats bad. Good maintenance records, B20/M40 lots of recent suspension and brake work and a rebuild of the B20 within the last couple of years. It's gone over 1500 miles as a daily driver in the last year with no issues at all.
Greg Blake picked a 445 up in SF for around 1k with body work needed B20/M41 and in was in good enough condition that he drove it home to southern CA. Those are in good demand and do get a premium over a 444/544 in like condition. If all else fails put it back on ebay and let the market decide. You can always put a reserve on it.
