Hey folks,
I've got a '93 240 that I want to keep looking like brand new - hard of course because of all the fading and cracking plastic and trim - but everytime I look I have another barely visable, teeny-tiny dent in a body panel somewhere. It's driving me mad.
How does one repair these? I've heard about this "Paintless Dent Repair" thing that is apparently a secret society one must be initiated into because the ONLY info I can find about it is either an advertisment for the service or some PDR specialist saying how amateurs should NEVER try the job themselves because the only way it can be done is after many many years of intense training of a select group of individuals with IQ's of over 200 and super-human, government enhanced, secret-implant, cat dexterity.
I've got more than a little experience working metal and I was hoping to find out something about this Paintless Dent Repair. I might be able to do it myself. If not, does anybody know how much these super-human tin-knockers would charge for their service on half a dozen wee imperfections?
Gracias!
-Sean
