"The early 4G63 rods are the same width as the late B20/B21/B23 rods.."

A question on the big end of the 4G63 rods - 92 and earlier.
I see them listed as being 1.117 wide in the Eagle Rod catalog. Is this correct?
The big end on the late B20 rods is closer to 1.171.
Is one of these measurements incorrect or is there a .050 difference in width?
