Hi Ron,
You might wanna pull the cluster (couple of screws under the trim) to make it easier. There are two slotted screws holding the electrical portion of the switch on there. Remove them after unplugging the wiring harness going to the switch. I assume that you're talking about the electrical portion and not the lock part.
