1981 240 headlight problem bizarre

While it may seem bizarre it really is not. When you hit the high beams it lights the inner bulbs as well as the high beam filament in the outer bulbs. So what is happening is that you have the left low beam on normally and then you swap to high beams and only the two right side ones light up correct? If that is the case then you need to replace everything except for the right high beam. Your right low beam is out, your left high beam is out and your left outer high beam is out (the outters have two filaments in them). You can double check it all with a test light before you go by two lows and a high beam but I think you will find that to be the problem.
