" Dextron ATF is designed to not cling as well and to flow easier under pressure. It is like I said before, water compared to Type F in the tranny. Dextron in the OD ONLY would do no damage. Dextron in the tranny on the other hand does not stay on the gears and is squeezed out from between the meshed teeth of the gears. Metal to metal results and over time the gears give up."
