How in the Hell Do You Pull an M-47? 200 1990

Many modern cars have the bell housing attached the manual transmission(the fasteners being accessible only from inside the bell housing), or the manual transmission is integral with the bell housing. Removing one is quite similar to removing an automatic transmission. Just remove the bell housing and starter bolts after dealing with the linkage and driveshaft. Oops, I almost forgot to mention the clutch linkage and back-up light wiring. It will help to rotate the transmission as you remove it.

The top bolt is not that bad to remove and replace. I use a 1/2" drive flex socket and two extensions, with a u-joint between the two extensions. I access the bolt from the right side of the transmission from under the car.

For someone who is very critical of strut tower braces, you show very limited mechanical aptitude.
