B230 Front Crank Seal 200 1992

Folks,

I have a 95 945T with the B230FT. It had a leaking front crank seal so today I changed the timing belt and put in a new seal. I used a grey viton seal instead of the orange Elring I used in my 240. The seal went in easily by hand, maybe too easily because it leaks. Should I switch to the Elring, or just try another? I did lubricate it prior to installing it and I made sure it didn't roll.
