connecting a strobe light 120-130

Depends on the specifics of your timing light. An older one I used to use simply hooked inline , temporarily replacing the #1 spark plug wire. The one I have no has little power leads you clip to the battery, then just an inductive sensor that quickly clips around the #1 plug wire at any point. The powered inductive light is brighter, but youd still like a darkish place to use it in.

I've never used a dwell meter, couldn't help you there.
