I've an '86 240 with the plastic wheelcovers on the stock wheels.

I'd love to do away with the plastic and install trim rings with the chrome caps; the ones with the chrome "V" on a black background. Can these be mounted on my stock wheels?

And if so, what is the clipping method/necessary hardware involved?
