Stalling and No Start 200 1988

If I can even get the thing started, I barly make it a mile before it stalls. And some days I have no problems. I have only had the time to do visually and listening check. The only thing I found was that the fuel pimp by the fuel filter was making a buzzing-humming noise. When I pull out the tools what are some things I ned to look for and do? It had a tune-up at 100k and must if not all of its schuled maintenance done by pros. The current mileage is 108,800 and its all stock and intacked expect for no rear muffler.
