I wants to knows why the split hose 200 1979

The vacume hose that connects to the vacume advance at the distributor keeps spliting at the connection and sometimes at the vacume "T". I keep replacing it,of course, but i am concerned as to the cause of this and possible other (unknown) malfunction. 1979 244 DL B-21 eng, M-46 4-sp w/od . thanks
