Saturday night about 12:45am I was making my left hand turn into my parking lot on a busy one way here in MKE when I looked in the rear view mirror and realized this guy in a van wasn't stopping. I had my turn signal on for a while so he knew I was turning. When he was just about to hit me I dropped my Volvo back into gear and mashed on the gas just in time for this guy to see I was there. He changed lanes and very mildly nicked the right side of my bumper sanding off about a quarter size patch of the coating. I got lucky! Once I got the Volvo parked I investigated my taillights. All turn signals and brake lights are working fine. My concern is with the 2 small lights that are used for breaking. Is this all Volvo installed for breaking on one of the safest cars known to man? I find that hard to believe. Can someone tell me if I'm missing some lights here or is this the way it's supposed to be? I do plan to get a third light installed very soon in my rear window.
Thanks in advance,
