Removing mud guards 200 1991

Does anyone out there know how to remove the mud guards and rubber fastened to the rear quarter panels? There's a couple of small rust holes back there which I want to patch. Also, can anyone suggest the best way to secure these once I've completed the repair work? Many thanks for any assistance.
