Head assembly replacement vs rebuilding head 200

I'm the owner of a 1980 245 DL, a project car that I am working on to make a very dependable daily driver. I have a stumble in the idle which I believe to be valve-train related (burned valve or valve seat, weak springs, worn cam, shims, etc.). Rather than go through all of the work and cost involved in tracking down the problem, what do all of you think about replacing the head with a new head assembly, complete with valves, springs, seats, camshaft and bearings, for $200, I do the installation?

I've already disassembled and cleaned the intake manifold, throttle body, injectors, replaced cat-back exhaust, gaskets (including exhaust manifold), and hangers. The plugs and distributor cap are good, but the plug wires could be suspect. I'll change them out first, but I would still like to have your feedback on the head replacement.
