midas!not a golden touch!! 700

Well my daughter away at college called me crying.Midas changed her oil and a couple miles down the road the thing started running really crappy.Of course Midas denied fault but, after driving the 900 miles to see it for myself. You guessed it!1 1/2 qts. over.after correcting that the test drive showed good. But,then we got raw gas smell and so I replaced injector seals etc.But still have the smell. There is a black carbon build up on the cowl behind the turbo now.I might add she was driving it for 3 months before she called and her first statement was "Daddy it is driving like your old Mustang would when the choke was bad" She said she got proably 10 miles before it fell on it's face and she gunned it up and black smoke poured out like she was having converter problems. But after paying for the new exhaust it wasn't any better.

So anyway I am thinking the raw gas smell was proably an exhaust leak that stated somehow due to the over fill of oil.God knows how over filled it was in the beginning remember it took her 3 months to finally call me and it was at that point still 1 1/2 qts over and according to the sticker from Midas she put 4000 miles on it.Also during this period she says gas mileage is terrible.

Well guys I have nothing but faith in all of you out there. Thanks a million up front. To date you have solved every problem we have ever had!Oh yeah it is a 89 740 Turbo. We have 3 of them, the daughters is the only one we ever have to fix and I blame that on the fact that she is like I said 900 miles away from home.
